Acoustic surveillance unit (BCMU)

Our acoustic surveillance units are especially designed for surveillance of people. If the sound in a room exceeds a certain volume for a certain time (both these variables can easily be changed for each unit), then this will trigger an alarm. The alarm can be sent to a clientPC, but can also be sent to any communication device.
Staff can now build up a speech connection (half-duplex or full-duplex) with the patient/resident. Optionally the unit can be equipped with a recording unit, to allow you to listen back to what caused the alarm in the first place. The unit is often used in the health care sector, particularly in elderly care and with disabled people.

Installing acoustic surveillance leads to a better observation of problems, a faster response to incidents and it also improves the efficiency of the organisation.

Some features of the control device:

  • Very good speaker and microphone quality
  • Connections for peripherals
  • Video connection
  • Available for wall mounting or as built in for ceilings
  • Special casing available to protect the unit against damage
